I am so beyond excite, y'all!
I will have an article published in issue 3 of the TTRPG zine Girls Write These Worlds (an offshoot of the award-winning live-play streaming channel Girls Run These Worlds)!!! I have wanted to work with GWTW and GRTW for at least a whole-ass year, having discovered them when they aired an In Nomine Satanis / Magna Veritas mini-campaign (that game was the parent of one of my favorite games, In Nomine).
My article is a location and a cult for Chaosium Inc.'s Call of Cthulhu Role-Playing Game ~ a group of queer artists and scholars in 1920s San Francisco who have been told that their love is unnatural and "dare not speak its name" long enough that they just decided to worship Hastur the Unspeakable! They run a speakeasy whose cabaret and drag performances pose a particularly liberatory memetic danger.
And my Beloved, award-winning (Bram Stoker Award-nominated) Afrosurrealist and horror writer Sumiko Saulson, will be in it, too! Ze is writing up a framework to continue the story of hir novel *Warmth*, exploring what will happen now that the world knows that ghouls exist.
SO EXCITE YOU SHOULD BUY THE ISSUE WHEN IT COMES OUT and also you should buy Issue 1 (Rebirth & New Beginnings) and Issue 2 (Legacies) right the eff now, baybee. You can do so at https://girlswritetheseworlds.itch.io/
